Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my campaign for Congress. As a mother, Veterinarian, and lifelong resident of southwest Ohio, I understand the challenges our families face. For too long regular citizens in our home have had no one to serve as their voice. I will serve in Congress as a citizen legislator and fight for all of our interests.
Under the neglect of our current Congressman, the Dayton metro area experienced the second highest job loss in the nation. Also, foreclosure rates throughout our district have been some of the highest in the country. The residents of southwest Ohio face hard times because our Congressman is too busy to take care of the people here at home. As your Representative, I understand that it is Congress’ duty to take care of everyone, not just citizens of one region or party. I am fed up with our job loss, the ballooning national deficit, and the fact that we continue to have young people leave Ohio at an alarming rate. I know that only a change in leadership will alter our handling of the war in Iraq or return honesty to government.
